Erik E. Highberg, Attorney at Law

About Erik E. Highberg, Attorney at Law

Who are we? What do we do? Where do we practice?

The answer to the first question here is simple: We are a solo practice law firm with an office located in Spokane, Washington, and an attorney who has been practicing law since 1991.

The answers to the second two questions are more complicated.

Taking them in order, our practice focuses on four very specific types of legal needs — plaintiff’s personal injury claims, defending pilots facing actions that could affect their licenses and livelihoods, representing policyholders in insurance disputes, and helping homeowners avail themselves of alternatives to foreclosure.

Where we practice and serve clients varies according to the type of case. Erik E. Highberg is admitted to practice in the states of Oregon, Washington and Idaho and in federal courts located in Washington and Oregon.

Non-legal Knowledge And Experience That Makes A Difference

Erik E. Highberg’s 23 years of experience as a lawyer is valuable and helpful to the clients we serve. It is also one of the most important factors clients cite for choosing to work with us. What sets us apart, however, are Erik’s experience, training and knowledge of subjects outside of the law, including emergency medicine, the nature of physical injuries, aviation, aircraft, air safety, fire safety and insurance-related investigations. He was also raised in the Spokane area and understands its people, traditions, customs and geography, which can also be helpful in some cases.

Working With Us

At our firm, you will have an experienced attorney personally managing every aspect of preparing your case. This is often not what clients receive at larger law firms, and it can give you significantly more peace of mind throughout the process.

You can also expect a higher level of personal attention and responsive service. There are no layers of support staff here to come between you and your attorney, and there are no unimportant cases to us. Mr. Highberg prefers working with clients on a one-to-one, face-to-face basis and in fact, left a lucrative management position at a large Spokane area personal injury law firm after many years to open this solo practice and devote his time, energy and passion to working with clients the way he prefers.
